01What kinds of images work best?

Start with a clear logo, drawing, silhouette, or bold artwork. Simple shapes with good contrast make the strongest starting point. PNG, JPG, JPEG, and SVG are supported, up to 10 MB. Photo relief and lithophane modes work with photographs too.

02Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Upload your image, generate a model, and inspect it for free. Pay only when you choose a production download, or use credits. Each purchase unlocks one format of that exact model.

03Is my preview already ready to print?

The preview shows the same geometry as the downloadable model. The report checks dimensions, watertightness, and disconnected components. Minimum wall thickness is not measured; inspect fine details and printer settings in your slicer before printing.

04What’s the difference between STL, 3MF, and OBJ?

STL stores geometry for 3D printing. 3MF keeps printable parts, units, and color information together. OBJ supports further mesh editing, and GLB is useful for web viewers and 3D apps. Choose the output format that fits your project.

05Will I be able to export a STEP file for CAD?

Artwork, reliefs, and lithophanes support STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, and GLB. Photo surfaces use faceted CAD solids.

06Can I turn a photo into a full 3D object?

You can make a brightness-based relief or a lithophane from a photo. These create shallow surfaces. Full AI object reconstruction is a later feature, so a photo of a dog will not become a complete figurine.

07Do I need a 3D printer or design experience?

No design experience is needed to use the studio. Download your model to print yourself or send it to a local print service. Your slicer handles printer-specific settings.
